When you come to Las Vegas and are near Downtown and the Vegas Strip, it is hard to remember that there are a lot of other casinos and resorts spread throughout Nevada. The city of Henderson is located in Clark County about 16 miles away from Las Vegas. One of the casinos in Henderson is called the Rainbow Club. It is a Peppermill Resorts Property.
Located in Downtown Henderson, it was opened in 1967 at the address of 122 S Water St Henderson, Nevada 89015. Though it is known as a locals hangout, we know that lots of casino enthusiasts, including many of our collectors, like to get around and see as many resorts as possible. The locals rave about the food, but are disappointed that the place no longer serves breakfast. They are known for their big portions and affordable prices.
At one time in the early history of this place, you could get a lunch for 97 cents and a dinner for $1.46. And breakfast specials were 24 hours. They would even offer you a coupon for 10 free nickles or 50 cents for the slot machines.
There was a period in the casino’s history when they had table games. Today, the Henderson business has no table games and has 330 slot machines in an almost 9000 square foot casino.
