Las Vegas History Series: Al’s Liquors Casino

Today, we continue our long running Las Vegas History Series by telling you what we know about Al’s Liquors Casino. The casino opened in 1955. 1955 was a busy year in Las Vegas casino history. The Dunes Hotel and Casino and the Moulin Rouge Hotel Casino also opened that year in Las Vegas.

Al’s Liquors Casino was located at 2682 Las Vegas Blvd. N. It was a 24-hour establishment. Besides the cocktail a lounge, there was a swimming pool that all customers could enjoy.  The cocktail lounge offered packaged liquors. It closed in 1977.
