Golden Nugget Laughlin Hotel & Casino History, Chips for Sale

The city of Laughlin, Nevada is located just under 100 miles from Las Vegas. If you are visiting this laid-back gaming city, you might stay at the Golden Nugget Laughlin Hotel & Casino. Located by the Colorado River at 2300 South Casino Drive, the hotel has 300 rooms. In the casino, you will find every major game including blackjack, craps and roulette. Restaurants at the resort include Bubba Gump Shrimp, Saltgrass Steakhouse and a New York style deli.

Prior to becoming the Golden Nugget Laughlin Hotel and Casino, it was Del Webb’s Nevada Club from 1978 to 1988. Retirees who stayed at the Nevada Club enjoyed a 10 percent lodging discount. After staying there on two different occasions, they would earn a 15 percent lodging discount for all future bookings. Tokens for free slot pulls and free drink cards were also given out to customers.

In 1988, Golden Nugget Inc. purchased the Del Webb’s Nevada club for $40 million. It then became the Golden Nugget Laughlin. The resort also has a private villa that anyone can reserve. It has three bedrooms and is 3000 square feet. Las Vegas casino pioneer Steve Wynn made that villa a home of his when he was affiliated with the Golden Nugget brand.

This weekend, we are selling all our chips from the Golden Nugget Laughlin. All the $5 commemorative chips are only $5 each. You can purchase each chip by clicking the picture below:
