The lights went out forever at midnight August 19, 2015 for the Las Vegas Club.  The Las Vegas Club opened its doors in 1930 and in 1931 was notable for installing the first Neon Sign on a gambling establishment in Las Vegas.  Originally located on the south side of Fremont Street, between Main and 1st Street, it moved to its current location in at the corner of Fremont and Main Street in 1949 quickly becoming a landmark for both locals and tourists to Downtown Las Vegas.
