A few months ago, poker enthusiast Jesse Fullen gave a speech here at Spinettis to the Southern Nevada Casino Collectibles Club. He discussed his career in poker and love of the game.
Now on display at Spinettis is a rare book for sale that has ties to poker legend, the late Doyle Brunson.
In the 1970s, according to Mr. Brunson, 10 copies were printed of a Super/System edition. A copy of that book is currently on display here at our location in Las Vegas.
Every copy that was made had the name of the buyer included in it. Our copy does not have a name. Mr. Fullen believes this was the test copy that was made by B&G Publishing here in Las Vegas.
The book was later signed by Hal Fowler. Mr. Fowler was the first recreational player to win the World Series of Poker Main Event in 1979.
Additionally, Doyle Brunson signed this book at a later date.
The book can be seen in our special display case by our collection of casino chips. The price for the book is $3999.
