Staying Connected with the Community For a Brighter Future for Everyone
This past Wednesday, Junior Achievement held an informative breakfast get together at the Rio Casino Resort.
During this get together they talked and showed us their involvement with the local community and how they have made such a big impact.
They have been doing this for 17 years now and have taught, helped and empowered nearly 200,000 students to their own success. Big numbers by themselves do not mean anything but when several voices stand behind it the message Junior Achievement sends is clear and powerful. These voices were heard through several speakers that included students, volunteers and educators. They also had key note speaker Margo Day, Vice President of US Education at Microsoft Corporation who has contributed and affected in 17,000 children in a great way. Here at Spinettis we have been involved with Junior Achievement for several years now. We are always thankful to Junior Achievement for allowing us to take part in their events.
